As the favourite daughter of an Indian chief, Pocahontas became the mediator between the Virginia Algonquian tribes and the English colonists. It forms the historical core of a historical myth about the supposedly peaceful settlement of North America by Europeans. In the Disney film of the same name, Pocahontas, with the help of her wise advisor, Grandmother Willow, learns to listen to her inner voice and to follow the 'play of colours of the wind'. Because together with her animal friends she has to prevent a seemingly inevitable fight between two peoples. Age: from 3 years.
