It forms the historical core of a historical myth about the supposedly peaceful settlement of North America by Europeans. In the Disney film of the same name, Pocahontas, with the help of her wise advisor, Grandmother Willow, learns to listen to her inner voice and to follow the 'play of colours of the wind'.
